These pieces are miscellaneous. They vary from traditional paintings and drawings
to digital paintings and 3D models.
This specific piece is a gouche sketch of my hands done from life. The main focus is accurately depicting
the skin undertones.
The purpose of this piece was to create a playing card that shows a unique ability that an organism is capable of. Think of Pokémon cards combined with National Geographics. So I chose to do Chinchilla and their ability to release chunks of fur to quickly escape predators.
This piece was an exploration on tension in hand and how it deforms the skin and their coloration as well.
These pieces done in charcoal was to investigate the human figure and their unerlying anatomy that can be viewed through skin.
These still lifes oil paintings were an exploration in different textures and how light plays off them. I wanted to explore with the transparency and distortion of glass and then the different textures found within a partially peeled clemetine.
Using CT scan data of a red panda skull, I practiced cleaning up this extracted model in ZBrush and rendering it C4D.
